DANIELA SKUGOR received her Master of Science degree in Sociology at Tilburg University in the Netherlands in 2010. She worked as a junior researcher at that university for several years, conducting research concerning various labour market-related issues, such as early labour market exits and creating an inclusive labour market. In 2013, she started working on a PhD project at the Herman Deleeck Centre for Social Policy. Her research concerns the association between employment history and and early labour force withdrawal among Europe's 50+ population.

Besides using SHARE data for her research, she is also part of the Flemish SHARE country team. The Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE; www.share-project.org) is a long-running panel database containing information on various life domains of Europe's 50+ population, such as health, socioeconomic status and social networks. The Flemish part of the survey is coordinated by the Centre for Social Policy, in cooperation with Cello (Antwerp University). Daniela is involved in the entire process leading up to a data release, from translating the questionnaire and testing interview software to fieldwork monitoring and data cleaning.

Research interests: i.a. ageing, (early) retirement, employment history, social policy.
